SOLD Peter Løvig Nielsen Boomerang Desk 1956

Designed by Peter Løvig Nielsen and produced by Hedensted Møbelfabrik, Denmark 1950’s. A teak desk of exceptional design and craftsmanship. The shaped top has raised and rolled edges on three sides that blend seamlessly into the the desk surface at the corners. There are three drawers to the left hand side, each with full width handles formed from the top edge of the drawer. The top drawer also has a sliding pen tray and working lock with key. The left hand side of the desk is gently curved. At the back of the desk isan integral shelf and lockable cupboard with working key. The door drops down to reveal an interior with shelf. This piece looks stunning from all angles and deserves centre stage in any room. The unique design continues down to the angular sled legs that are united by angled teak brackets with brass details.
