A mid-century rise and fall ceiling light circa 1960. The original white painted steel frame is suspended from the original chrome ceiling rose. There are three down lights with translucent white glass shades and three up lights with chrome shades. Unusually all lights can be controlled via a multi function switch at the bottom of the fitting (up light only, down light only, up and down lights together, off).
The light can be easily lowered or raised by gently pulling down or pushing up and works on a coiled mechanism housed inside the ceiling rose. This light has been completely re-wired and is ready to hang. A very unusual piece that would look amazing above a dining table where the up/down mechanism is particularly useful.
3 ES bulbs and 3 SES bulbs required.
Overall width: 38cm diameter.
Length from ceiling to switch: Adjustable from 102.5cm min to 141cm max.
