Kai Kristiansen ‘Universal’ Low Tables for Magnus Olesen

Designed by Kai Kristiansen and produced by Magnus Olesen, Denmark 1960’s. A pair of low side tables in rosewood with their original riven slate tops. These tables were part of the ‘Universal’ range. The coffee tables are beautifully designed and constructed with gently curved sides and legs that have two angles of taper. The slate is a very practical surface that also has great texture and tonal variation. Very sophisticated and useful pieces in a desirable surface height of just 34cm.
