A very rare oak framed armchair designed by Kai Kristiansen and produced by Christian Jensen Møbelsnedkeri in Denmark in 1964. The high back chair is model 179. This range of lounge seating was launched at the Møbelfabrikantforeningens in Fredericia in 1964. The chair has been completely re-upholstered and the back has been fitted with new woven cane and is in excellent condition throughout. The high back model has an adjustable (or removable) head support cushion for added comfort tailored to the individual.
