Designed by Frank Litelijn in the late 1950’s and produced by lighting manufacturer Raak in the Netherlands. This example produced circa 1970. The floor lamp consists of a heavy cast iron tripod base with height adjustable chromed metal column. The chromed frame supports a smoked glass globe (produced by German factory Peill & Putzler) and contains an aluminium reflector. The glass globe can be re-positioned within its frame and sits on rubber grommets. This light has been re-wired and includes the original black and white floor switch.
